Shaping responsible citizens, fearless leaders, and compassionate community servants — one badge at a time at Sri Sai Santosh High School, Guntur.
Since the school's founding, the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement has been an integral part of our school culture. Our two proud wings — the Indian Soldiers Scouts (boys) and Mother Teresa Guides (girls) — have participated in national campaigns, district-level competitions, and countless community service drives across Guntur and Andhra Pradesh.
Sri Sai Santosh has two active scouting wings, each with its own identity, uniform, and traditions — united by the common motto: "Be Prepared."
Our boys scout troop — proudly wearing the grey scout uniform with red scarves — participates in Independence Day parades, republic day events, district camps, and national campaigns. The troop focuses on leadership, survival skills, map reading, first aid, and community service with a strong sense of national duty.
Our girls guide troop — proudly wearing the navy blue uniform — have celebrated multiple Formation Days with distinction. The guides programme builds confidence, empathy, homemaking skills, first aid, and community leadership. Our guides have been recognised at district levels for their discipline and exemplary service to the community.
Our scouts and guides engage in a wide range of activities that build character, skill, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Our scouts march in Independence Day and Republic Day parades, participate in Swachh Bharat campaigns, and represent the school in national-level scouting events with pride and discipline.
Overnight camps, tent pitching, fire lighting, map reading, and wilderness survival training build self-reliance and teamwork.
Certified first aid training sessions teach scouts to respond to emergencies — a life skill that stays with them forever.
Tree planting drives, cleanliness campaigns, and community outreach projects that nurture environmental responsibility.
Our scouts and guides follow the official Bharat Scouts & Guides badge system — earning ranks from Pravesh to Rashtrapati Award — recognising skill, service, and leadership at each level through assessments, projects, and community activities.
